Yibekka Kakadu Tours is an Aboriginal owned business offering cultural tours in Kakadu National Park. Yibekka Kakadu Tours is owned and operated by James Morgan, a local Bininj man. James is passionate about protecting Country and creating more economic opportunities for his family and other local Bininj people. This business is a testament to that and aspires to show that Bininj people are solely capable of managing their own affairs sustainably.
Yibekka in the local language means to direct someone to listen and feel. Yibekka Kakadu means to listen and feel Kakadu.
Yibekka Kakadu Tours is committed to advancing the social outcomes of the local Bininj people and protecting the sacred sites of Kakadu National Park. A portion of every tour will go towards funding community projects. This season, Yibekka Tours will be using a portion of profits to help fund the surveying and registering sacred sites in Kakadu.
