Prepare for a truly memorable experience as you travel through time and the three gorges of stunning Nitmiluk Gorge in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory.
This four hour experience allows guests to experience the first 3 gorges at a relaxed pace. Our experienced Guides will share the history, culture and stories of the Nitmiluk Region as you travel through the Gorges. This tour also includes the option of a refreshing swim at the Lillypond seasonal waterfalls or at the shallow rock pools
Location
Gorge Road, Nitmiluk National Park. Located 30km from the township of Katherine, allow 30 minutes driving time.
What to expect
Prepare for a truly memorable experience as you travel through time and the three gorges of Nitmiluk Gorge.
The three gorge cruise offers a relaxed experience, with our expert tour guides going into depth about the history and function of the eight to ten thousand year old Indigenous rock art you will see on this journey.
Once you get to the third gorge, you will have an opportunity to swim at the Lillypond seasonal waterfalls or at the shallow rock pools. Depending on what time of the year you visit you may be able to swim in the many rock pools in gorges 1 and 2.
As this is a slower paced experience, you will also have moments to chat and ask questions of our expert tour guides.
What is included
This is a four hour cruise that departs at 9:00am daily between May – October.

This tour is subject to weather and river conditions and will operate with a minimum of 12 passengers
Children: 5yrs (inclusive) and under = FOC / 6 – 15yrs (inclusive) = child rate / 16yrs (inclusive) and over = adult rate
There are steps and walks totalling approximately 1200 metres each way, so please wear appropriate footwear. Those with mobility issues are recommended to not participate on this tour.
